Sunburn has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment, drug abuse, theft and violence.
Harassment includes but is not limited to: stalking, verbal or physical intimidation, offensive verbal comments, physical assault and/or battery, harassing or non-consensual photography or recording, bathroom policing, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome physical attention.
Here are some basics to start with. Yes we are appalled we had to make this list too:
Drug Abuse: Sunburn has a zero tolerance approach to anyone found in possession or consumption of substances thought to be prohibited by local law or by Sunburn’s own terms and conditions of entry. At the very least you will not be allowed to remain at the venue and the Police will decide on further action against you.
India’s national policies on drugs, which are governed by the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act of 1985, under this act the penalties for drug-related offenses is imprisonment up to 10 years, with a fine starting at ₹1 lakh.
LDA (Legal Drinking Age): All attendees must be of legal drinking age to purchase or consume alcohol at the venue. Valid government-issued identification will be required to confirm your age. The organisers reserve the right to verify your identity at any time. If you cannot provide a valid ID, security may refuse you entry. Photocopies will not be accepted. Presenting a false identity is considered fraud and will result in immediate action, including handing over to the authorities and potential criminal charges. While Sunburn will have an emergency medical service compatible with the size of the event, however, all attendees accepting the LDA bracelet are expected to ensure that they drink responsibly and minimize the chance of any risk or illness.
Violence: Sunburn is a celebration of music, unity and positive vibes. Any form of violence or aggression is strictly prohibited. Let’s keep the events safe and full of good energy for everyone.
Access to the event may be refused, and attendees may be removed (with no refund of the entry fee) if the Event Organiser or their representatives deem that a visitor poses a potential risk to themselves or others. This includes, but is not limited to :
Theft:
If you need to report an incident that requires the intervention of Security, you may reach out to the security personnels deployed through the venue or at the box office.
